New Side Navigation Panel


We have introduced a new Side Navigation Panel design that simplifies View access. This collapsible side panel can be pinned open for quick access, or closed to maximize the page viewing area. In addition, your favorite Views are now prominently displayed at the top for even quicker access.

Undo / Redo Actions

Introducing the SmartSuite Undo/Redo feature. Now you can effortlessly reverse actions like saving, editing, or deleting records with a simple 'Undo' button. If you change your mind, 'Redo' is just a click away. Plus, we offer two convenient methods: a toast message or keyboard shortcuts for quick access. Say goodbye to mistakes and hello to enhanced control in SmartSuite.

Two Convenient Methods

We understand that everyone has their preferred way of working, so we've provided two convenient methods for using the Undo/Redo feature:

  1. Toast Message: After performing an action, a toast message confirms the operation and contains an 'Undo' button for quick reversal. This method is intuitive and perfect for those who prefer a visual cue.

  2. Hotkeys: If you're a fan of keyboard shortcuts, we've got you covered. SmartSuite offers a set of hotkeys that allow you to Undo and Redo actions with simple keystrokes. This method is ideal for users who want to keep their hands on the keyboard and maintain a seamless workflow.

Spotlight by Status or Single Select Field Types

We have enhanced our Spotlight feature to support the selection of a Status or Single Select field. The selected field’s colors will automatically be applied to the grid cell displaying values in the list.

When selecting Spotlight from the Reporting Toolbar, and you now have the option to select a field that will reflect and status of the selection field or assign colors based on specified conditions.

Due Date: Nested Field Display Options


We have enhanced the Due Date field to support nested field display. Now, you have the flexibility to choose whether to show the full date range or opt for just the Start or End date in your Views. Customize your data presentation like never before for enhanced clarity, ease of data entry, and control.

SmartDoc Field: Whiteboard Feature

The whiteboard feature in SmartDocs allows users to create flowcharts, diagrams, or charts within the SmartDocs field. Create an image of a whiteboard on the page where users can draw and add content. Use the / command inside a SmartDoc field to access the Whiteboard tool. Your blank canvas awaits creative input.

Drawing Options: Click and drag to draw, choose shapes from the toolbar, and experiment with various tools.

Additional Features: Explore layering, duplication, and grouping to refine your drawings.

Customization: Customize stroke widths, colors, and opacity levels in the right sidebar.

Keyboard Shortcuts: Access shortcuts like "V" for the pointer tool and "T" for adding text.

Export and Sharing: Save scenes or export images for sharing, presentations, or records.

Advanced Features: Embed dynamic field elements into your whiteboard tool using "Embed Record Field."

Libraries: Save and select items in the library for consistent and reproducible designs.

Multi-User SmartDoc Collaboration

Our SmartDoc field type has been enhanced to support a collaborative display mode that is auto-enabled if two or more team members are editing a SmartDoc field at the same time. This feature provides a real-time view of all edits, mirroring the dynamic collaboration experience of platforms like Google Docs.

Table Icons

Select from a diverse range of icons to personalize and distinguish your tables.By visually distinguishing tables with unique icons, users can easily navigate and comprehend the context of each table, fostering a more intuitive and user-friendly data management experience.

Charts: Ordering of Values


You can effortlessly apply sorting to chart segments, bringing logic and organization to your visualizations. This functionality is available across Column and Bar charts and their variants, ensuring flexibility in how you present your data.

Note: For Bar and Column Charts, if you do not select a field to group by you will have the option to Sort by Values. This will add an option to be able to sort the values from First to Last or Last to First, and you'll see the chart values reorder as these selections are made.

Lookup Drill In

You are now able to click on a Lookup field value in a View or Record to access the record, making it easy to review details or make necessary changes, subject to appropriate permissions.

Automations: Nested Full Name & Address Field


We have added nested field support for the Full Name and Address field types within automations. This enhancement provides you with greater flexibility when configuring conditions and actions.
