SmartDoc Collaborative Mode is designed to transform the way you work on documents, making it easier than ever before to collaborate with others in real time. Real-Time Edit Display

  • Instant Updates: Edits made by one user are immediately visible to others, even before the document is saved.

  • Cursor Tracking: See your collaborators' cursor movements and text inputs in real time, ensuring synchronized work.

Document State Preservation

  • Uninterrupted Collaboration: If a user exits the document without saving, their edits are preserved. When they return, the document reflects its latest state, including other collaborators' changes.

  • Safeguard Against Data Loss: If the last collaborator exits without saving, the original content is restored, discarding unsaved changes.

Saving During Collaboration

  • How to Save: Any collaborator can save the document by clicking the Save button or pressing CONTROL + S.

How to Enable Collaborative Mode

Collaborative Mode activates automatically when two or more users edit the same SmartDoc field at the same time. There’s no need to enable it manually.
