A Divider widget draws a horizontal line across a dashboard. Think of a rule between two groups of widgets. The line takes a color you choose and an optional label in its middle.
Here is the test: do two groups of widgets run into each other? If yes, put a Divider between them. For empty room with no line, use a Spacing widget. For a title with a description, use a Heading widget.
Example: on the Vendor risk overview a Divider separates the metrics row from the grids below. Its label reads Findings and its line is the red used for Critical severity.

Select + Add Widget in the toolbar. The Add New Widget sidebar opens on the right with a Search Widget box and thirteen collapsible categories. Page Display is open to start.
Open Page Display and select the Divider card. Its info icon reads "Adds a divider line with optional description."
The Divider modal opens. The preview sits on the left and two settings on the right, with no tabs. Set them, then select Add Widget at the foot.
Drag it by its handle to move it.
The widget settings
The Divider's window has no tabs. It holds two settings, Label and Line Color, above a preview of the line.
Label
A text box for the words shown in the middle of the line. Its helper reads "Leave the input empty if you don't want the label to be displayed". The overview's divider reads Findings.
Tip: A Divider with a label replaces a Heading when the section needs only a word. Keep Headings for sections that need a sentence of context.
Line Color
A blue swatch with a color picker. The preview shows the rule, with the label centered on it when one is set.

Using the widget
In View mode the Divider is a line with its label. It runs the width of its widget space. A Filter widget and a Record Selector do not change it. It holds no records.
The widget shows in the SmartSuite mobile app for iOS and Android.
Editing a Divider widget
In Edit mode, hover over the widget and select Edit in the strip that appears above it. The modal reopens; change the label or the color, then select Save Changes at the foot. The strip's More Options menu holds Minimize, Highlight Color, Duplicate Widget, Delete Widget and Collapsed by Default; see Managing Widgets.
