SmartSuite has three per-seat plans, Team, Professional and Enterprise, plus the per-solution Signature plan. Team is $15 per seat per month billed annually ($20 billed monthly), Professional is $32 ($36 billed monthly), and Enterprise and Signature are priced by Sales.

SmartSuite Plans Overview

SmartSuite offers four plan levels to meet different organizational needs:

  • Team Plan: designed for individuals and small teams to manage key processes and projects.

  • Professional Plan: suitable for medium to large businesses looking to automate workflows.

  • Enterprise Plan: provides advanced security, scalability, and enhanced automation capabilities.

  • Signature Plan: offers complete flexibility, with tailored usage limits and features to match your specific requirements.

Important Note: The Solution record limit applies to the combined total of all records across all Tables within a Solution, not per Table.

  • Permissions: Account, solution, table, and field-level

  • Security: Includes SSO (Single Sign-On) with SAML and OpenID Connect, SCIM user provisioning and SCIM-synced user groups, audit logs, IP address restrictions, data loss prevention (DLP) and European data residency

  • Additional Features: Locked Views, Premium Support, a named Customer Success Manager on annual plans with 25 or more licensed users, and payment by invoice

Signature Plans

With our Signature Plan, we offer complete flexibility, allowing you to tailor your usage limits and features to match your specific requirements. Whether you need more records, automations, API calls, file storage, or extended activity history, we've got you covered.

Customers requiring more than 500,000 automation runs or API calls per month are directed to our Signature Plan, which includes custom usage-based pricing and premium support. Signature is priced per solution rather than per user, so an organization can roll a solution out to a large population without per-seat cost; terms, minimums and support levels are agreed in your contract.

Viewing & Managing Your Plan

For All SmartSuite Users

Your current plan is displayed on your home page next to your workspace name.

For Administrators

  1. Click your user profile icon (top-right corner).

  2. Select Workspace Administration.

  3. Click the Plans & Billing tab.

  4. Your current plan details are listed under Plan Profile.

From here, administrators can upgrade, downgrade, or modify the current plan. To upgrade from the Team plan to the Professional plan, ensure you meet the minimum requirement of 5 billable users at the Professional plan rate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Yes. You are never locked in and can change your plan at any time, including adding or removing users. Go to Plans & Billing in Workspace Administration to update your subscription.

What happens if I exceed my plan limits?

If you reach the record or attachment limit for your plan, your Solutions keep working and your data stays where it is. SmartSuite notifies you of the overage, and you cannot add more records or attachments until you upgrade. Automation runs and API calls are capped at your plan's monthly limit; see Automation Limits and API Transaction Limits.

Which users are billed?

Team starts at 3 billable users and Professional at 5. Enterprise has no minimum. Read-only users, commenters and form submitters are not billed.

Do you offer a free trial?

Yes. The 14-day free trial gives you the Professional plan with no credit card required and no automatic charge when the trial ends. See Free Trial Period and Plan.

Are there discounts for nonprofits or educational institutions?

Yes. SmartSuite offers discounted pricing for eligible nonprofits and educational institutions. Contact our support team for details.

Can I customize my plan?

Customization of limits and features is available with the Signature Plan. Contact our sales team to discuss your requirements.
