Adapt your SmartSuite plan to meet the changing needs of your organization. Whether you're scaling up with additional users and features or reducing costs, modifying your plan is easy and flexible.

Working with Your SmartSuite Subscription Plan

View Plan Options

SmartSuite offers a variety of plans, each with distinct features and limits.

You can explore plan details and pricing:

  • Online: Visit smartsuite.com/pricing.

  • In the Workspace:

    1. Log in as a Member with the Administrator role.

    2. Click your user profile icon in the upper-right corner.

    3. Select Workspace Administration from the menu.

    4. Open the Plans & Billing tab.

    5. If on a trial plan, click Choose a Plan to get started.

    6. For existing paid plans, click Change Plan to view options.

Selecting a New Plan

Follow these steps to change your plan:

  1. Choose Billing Cycle:

    • Pay Monthly

    • Pay Annually (discounted pricing available)

  2. Select Your Plan:

    • Click the desired plan to see the price per user.

  3. Confirm Your Selection:

    • Click Continue to Checkout to finalize your choice and pay any fees.


Plan Upgrades

When you upgrade (e.g., from Team to Professional):

  • The new plan activates immediately upon confirmation.

  • Billing adjusts to include the prorated difference between the current plan and the upgraded plan for the remainder of the billing period.


Plan Downgrades

When you downgrade (e.g., from Enterprise to Professional):

  • The change takes effect at the end of your current subscription term.

  • Example: If on a Professional monthly plan and downgrading to Team, the Professional features remain until the billing cycle ends, after which the Team plan activates with updated pricing.


Switching to the Free Plan

To switch to the Free plan:

  • Follow the same downgrade process described above.

  • The current plan remains active until the billing period ends, then switches to Free.

Member Selection for Free Plan

If you have more than 3 Members, SmartSuite will retain active Members as follows:

  1. The Account Owner (original Administrator) remains active.

  2. Account Administrators are selected next, in order of creation.

  3. If additional slots remain, Members with the Creator role are selected.

  4. General role Members are selected last, based on creation order.
