Overview

The SmartSuite web application is resilient and should continue to function well even with a poor or slow Internet connection. However, it does not yet support full offline mode.

Open pages are cached, and the system will do its best to save your changes when you are back online. Please note that the ability to save your changes after returning from an offline state is not guaranteed, so please save your updates frequently when your Internet connection is unstable or unreliable.

Practical Scenarios and Use Cases

1. Unexpected Network Issues

Scenario: A team member is working on a critical document when their internet connection suddenly drops.

Solution: The document remains cached, and changes are cached, and SmartSuite will do its best to save them once the connection is restored.

2. Remote Work in Low-Bandwidth Areas

Scenario: A user is traveling in a remote location with inconsistent internet access.

Solution: SmartSuite allows ongoing work with cached pages and will do its best to save updates once connectivity is restored.

3. Transitioning Between Networks

Scenario: A user switches from home Wi-Fi to mobile data, causing a momentary loss of connection.

Solution: SmartSuite will do its best to resume saving updates once the new network stabilizes.
