The Date Range field captures start and end dates and is essential in using Timeline View. Time values can be added as needed.

If only a Start Date or End Date is entered, the value will be applied automatically to the missing date.
Adding a Date Range Field
You can add a Date Range field from two views:
From Grid View:
Navigate to the Grid View of your table.
Click the + Field button after the last column header or open the Column Menu by clicking on a column header's dropdown icon and selecting "Add Field to the Right."
Select Date Range from the field options. A configuration window will open.
Customize the field settings and save.
From Record View:
Open the desired record in Record View.
Click the + sign next to an existing field to add a new field below.
Select Date Range and configure it.
