The Resource Scheduling widget shows who is working on what, day by day, across the whole workspace. Picture a grid with one row per member and one column per day, with a number in each cell for that member's load. The widget reads every scheduling-ready table in every solution, not one table.
Here is the test: do you want to see which members are over capacity and which have room, before you assign the next piece of work? If yes, add this widget. For one table's work laid out on dates, use a Gantt View widget or a Timeline View widget instead.
Example: a Vendor Management solution. The Findings table carries a Due Date, a Status, an Owner (an Assigned To field) and a Dependency field. On the Vendor risk overview dashboard, the Security lead adds a Resource Scheduling widget titled Remediation workload. Each Security member has a row. A red cell shows a day with too many findings due; a green cell shows a day with room. The Security lead expands a row to see which findings fall on that day, then opens one.
The Remediation workload widget: one row per member with avatar and job title, the Day and Week header, green and red load cells, shaded weekend columns and one row expanded to its findings.

Adding a Resource Scheduling widget
Open the dashboard and set the View | Edit switch in the upper right to Edit.
Select + Add Widget in the toolbar. The Add New Widget sidebar opens on the right, with a Search Widget box and the widget categories.
Expand Project Related. It holds three cards: Resource Scheduling, Countdown and World Clock. Hover over the Resource Scheduling card's info icon to read "Add a Resource Scheduling in your dashboard".
Select the card. The Resource Scheduling window opens. The live preview on the left fills at once with every member of the workspace and their scheduled work. The settings sidebar is on the right.
Set the title and the configuration as described below, then select Add Widget. Cancel closes the window without placing the widget.
The widget lands at the full width of the row. There is no Save button on a dashboard: Add Widget is the commit, and the widget is there after a reload. Drag the handle on its bottom edge or its right corner to resize it; see Managing Widgets.
Note: There is no empty state. The preview shows real members and real work from the moment the window opens, because the source is the whole workspace.
The Add New Widget sidebar with Project Related expanded, showing the Resource Scheduling, Countdown and World Clock cards and the Resource Scheduling tooltip.
The widget settings
The sidebar has no tabs. It holds three sections in this order: Heading, Source and Configuration. Configuration is collapsed until you open it. The window's header holds a gear that hides or shows the sidebar, a three-dot More Options menu with one item, Duplicate Widget, and an X. Hide the sidebar and the preview takes the full width of the window.
Heading
Title is the name shown in the widget's header. It starts as "Resource Scheduling". For the example, the title is Remediation workload. Description is a switch, off to start.
Source
A single row reads All Solutions and Tables. It is not a picker; selecting it does nothing. The widget has no solution or table choice. It reads every scheduling-ready table in every solution of the workspace.
Configuration
All Members or Specific Team sets whose rows the widget shows. All Members is selected to start. Select Specific Team and a Select Team dropdown appears with a Search box. It lists the workspace's Teams; pick one and only its members have rows. For the example, the Security lead picks the Security team.
Default View sets the two time scales the grid opens on: the top header row and the column row under it. The dropdown offers eight spans in this order:
Day and Week, the default: the top row shows the week number and month, and each column is one day.
Day and Month: the top row shows the month, and each column is one day.
Week and Day: the top row shows the week's starting date, and each column is one day.
Week and Month: the top row shows the month, and each column is one week with the week's total.
Month and Year: the top row shows the year, and each column is one month with the month's total.
Week and Day letter: the top row shows the week's starting Sunday, and each column is one day shown as a letter, M T W T F S S.
Week date and Month: the top row shows the month, and each column is one week shown by its date.
Day: the top row shows one day, and each column is one hour.
Three switches follow, all on to start: Allow users to create new records, Display Member Avatars and Show Weekends.
Tip: Keep Day and Week for the daily stand-up and switch a second copy of the widget to Month and Year for planning. Duplicate Widget in the More Options menu makes the copy.

Which records appear
A record appears on a member's row when its table is set up for scheduling. The table needs a Due Date field, a Status field and an Assigned To field, paired by a Dependency field. This is the same set of fields a Gantt view uses; see Gantt View. The record shows on the row of the member in the Assigned To field, on every working day between its start and its due date.
A table with only a Date Range field, or a Due Date field and an Assigned To field with no Dependency field, does not feed the widget. If a member's row stays empty, check the table's fields first.
Note: The widget reads the whole workspace. A dashboard in one solution shows work from every other solution too, so the member rows reflect everything that is scheduled, not only this solution's tables.
Permissions
Solution Managers and members with Full Access add a Resource Scheduling widget to a public dashboard and change its settings. The owner does the same on a private dashboard. Every member who can open the dashboard sees the widget; see Dashboard Settings. The member list shows every active member of the workspace, or the members of the chosen Team. On a shared dashboard the widget shows to anyone with the link; see Public Dashboard Sharing.
Using the widget
In View mode the left column is headed Member. Each row shows a member's name and job title, with their avatar at the right. A member with scheduled work has a chevron at the left of the row. Select it and the row expands to one line per record. Hover over a record line and an icon appears at its left with the tooltip Open record; select it to open the full record window. Selecting the record's title does nothing.
Each cell holds a number: the member's load on that day, week or month. A cell is shaded green when the member is under capacity and red when over. Weekend columns are shaded and never carry a value. There is no tooltip on a cell, a number or an avatar. In the Day span the day's load is spread across the working hours.
Hover over a member's row and a + appears with the tooltip New Record. It opens the Create New Record dialog. Its prompt reads "Choose in which table you want to create the record in." above the Solution and Table dropdowns. These are prefilled with the dashboard's own solution and table. Select Next to go on, or Cancel. The Allow users to create new records switch controls this button.
Hover over the widget and two icons appear at its top right: Full Screen and More Options, which holds Minimize. Full Screen opens the schedule in a window titled with the widget's name, with an X to close. There is no scale switcher, no today button and no arrows in the widget. The horizontal scrollbar is the way to move in time.
The Default View dropdown open in the sidebar, listing the eight spans from Day and Week to Day, with the preview redrawn behind it.
For the example, the Security lead sees a red cell on the Procurement member's row. Expanding the row shows three findings due on that day. One is reassigned from the record window, and the cell turns green.
Editing a Resource Scheduling widget
In Edit mode, hover over the widget. A strip appears in its header with a drag handle (Drag Widget), Move Up, Move Down, Edit (a gear), a three-dot menu and a tab with the widget's name. Select Edit to reopen the window. Its sidebar is headed with the widget's name and an X, and its footer reads Cancel and Save Changes. Cancel, the X or Escape after a change asks "Are you sure you want to exit without saving the changes you made?" with Exit Without Saving and Save Changes.
The strip's three-dot menu holds Minimize, Highlight Color, Duplicate Widget, Delete Widget and a Collapsed by Default checkbox. Resize handles sit on the bottom edge and the right corner. See Manage widgets on a dashboard.
The Create New Record dialog over the widget, with the Solution and Table dropdowns prefilled and the Cancel and Next buttons.
Frequently asked questions
Why is a member's row empty?
Why is a member's row empty?
The widget shows a record only when its table has a Due Date, a Status and an Assigned To field paired by a Dependency field. A table with a Date Range or a Due Date alone does not feed it. The member also has to be in the record's Assigned To field.
Can I show one table or one solution only?

What do the green and red cells mean?
