In Edit mode, hover over a widget and a strip appears above it: a drag handle, Move Up, Move Down, Edit and a three-dot menu. The menu holds Minimize, Highlight Color, Duplicate Widget, Export, Delete Widget and Collapsed by Default. Pills on the right and bottom edges resize the widget on a four-column canvas.
Here is the test: is the layout wrong, or a widget in the wrong place? If yes, these controls fix it without opening the widget's settings. To change what a widget shows, select Edit instead; see View-Based Widget Settings.
Example: the Security lead rearranges the Vendor risk overview. The Summary Card moves above the chart with Move Up. The chart is resized to half the row. The register's Grid View widget gets an orange highlight for the audit week. The Text Block of instructions is set to Collapsed by Default. A duplicate of the chart becomes findings by status.
The hover strip on the chart widget: the drag handle, Move Up, Move Down, Edit, the three-dot menu and the name tab.

Opening the widget controls
Set the View | Edit switch in the upper right to Edit.
Hover over a widget. A strip appears above it. Left to right it holds a drag handle (tooltip Drag Widget), an up arrow (Move Up) and a down arrow (Move Down). Then come an Edit button (Edit Widget), a three-dot button (More Options) and a tab with the widget's name.
Edit opens the widget's modal with its preview and settings; see View-Based Widget Settings or the widget's own article. Hover also shows the resize handles as blue pills. One sits in the middle of the right edge, one in the middle of the bottom edge, and a dot at the bottom-right corner.
The menu
The three-dot menu holds, in order, Minimize, Highlight Color, a line, Duplicate Widget, Export, Delete Widget, a line, and a Collapsed by Default checkbox.
Minimize
Hides the widget's content and leaves its header.
Highlight Color
Opens a palette of ten swatches: blue, green, orange, red, purple, light blue, teal, yellow, pink and gray, with blue selected to start. The color becomes the widget's accent. The register's Grid View widget is orange during the audit week so the auditor finds it first.
Duplicate Widget
Opens the Duplicate Widget dialog: the source card, an arrow, the copy card and a NAME box prefilled with the widget's name and "Copy". Change the name and select Duplicate Widget, or Cancel. The copy lands below the original at the same size, with the same settings. Edit the copy to change what it shows.
Export
Offers Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and CSV for the records in the widget. It appears on a Grid View widget with Allow Exporting on; see View-Based Widget Settings.
Delete Widget
Opens the prompt "Are you sure you want to delete the <name> widget?" with No, cancel and Yes, delete widget. After Yes, the widget is gone; no undo notice appears.
Note: A deleted widget is gone at once and does not go to the Recycle Bin. Duplicate a widget before a change you may want to undo.
Collapsed by Default
A checkbox. Checked, the dashboard opens with the widget minimized for every viewer. The Text Block of instructions on the overview is collapsed by default, so the numbers come first.
The More Options menu open with its seven items.
Moving and resizing
Drag. Hold the handle at the left of the strip and move the widget. A dot grid appears on the canvas, the widget follows the pointer as a ghost, and a dashed placeholder shows where it will land, snapped to the grid. Release and the widget lands on the placeholder. The other widgets reflow around it.
Move Up and Move Down. Each moves the widget one step. Widgets of equal width swap places. A wider widget moves into a row of its own.
Resize. The canvas is four columns wide. Drag the right pill and the placeholder shows the width the widget will snap to; release and it fills whole columns. A metric takes one column, a grid starts at two. At one column a view widget's toolbar folds into a Configure View dropdown. Drag the bottom pill to change the height, which moves in smaller steps than the columns. The widgets beside it reflow, and the layout saves on its own.
Insert. Hover between two widgets and select the + that appears to add a widget at that spot; see How to Create a Dashboard.
Tip: Set widths first, then order. Equal widths swap cleanly with Move Up and Move Down; mixed widths push a widget into a new row.
The chart mid-resize to half width, with the Summary Card reflowing beside it.
The widget in View mode
In View mode the strip is gone. Hover over a widget and two icons appear at its top right. Full Screen opens the widget in a window of its own. The three-dot menu holds Minimize and Export. A Record Details widget adds Open Record and Show Comments icons.
