What are the building blocks?
Five building blocks nest inside each other. A workspace is your account and holds solutions. A solution holds the tables for one business process. A table holds records of one type of item, and each record has fields, one per attribute.
Workspace: your SmartSuite account, with its own members, plan and settings. A company or team usually shares one.
Solution: the container for one process: its tables, views, dashboards and automations. Solutions appear as tiles on the home page.
Table: records of one type of item, such as projects, tasks, vendors or controls.
Record: one item in a table. Open a record to see every field and its activity history.
Field: one attribute of a record. SmartSuite has more than 40 field types, from text, dates and numbers to Linked Records and SmartDocs.
