Overview

Create one report that allows everyone on your team to see only the work assigned to them (the Current User). This eliminates the need for creating separate saved views for each team member.

How to Set Up a Current User Filter

Follow these steps to create a saved view filtered by the Current User:

  1. Navigate to the Desired Saved View: Open the view you want to customize.

  2. Click on Filter in the Toolbar: Access the filter options.

  3. Select the Assign To Field: Choose the field used to assign tasks or items.

  4. Apply the Filter: Set the filter condition to is exactly and select Current User.

Benefits of Filtering by Current User

  • Simplified Navigation: Users can easily focus on their own assignments without sifting through irrelevant data.

  • Unified Saved Views: Only one saved view is needed for the entire team, reducing setup and maintenance time.

  • Real-Time Updates: The filter dynamically adjusts to show assignments for the user currently viewing the saved view.
