The FAQ Widget is a powerful tool for displaying a list of frequently asked questions and their corresponding answers. This widget enhances user experience by providing quick access to important information, reducing the need for direct support.

How to Use the FAQ Widget

Navigate to your dashboard. For help on creating a dashboard view, see this article.
Toggle the View / Edit Dashboard Modal and click on "Add Widget button."

Locate and select the "FAQ Widget" from the library.

The widget settings will display a "General" tab for managing the Title and description of the FAQs with the management of the Questions and Answers within. The Style

Set the Title and Description:

  • Enter a title and description for your FAQ section. This is optional and can be left blank if not needed.

Adding Questions and Answers:

  • Click "Add Question" to enter a question.

  • Click on the question to enter the answer. Use the text editor to format your answers, including adding links, bold text, and more.

  • Repeat this process to add multiple questions and answers.

  • Rearrange the order of questions by dragging and dropping them.

Customize the Style:

  • Choose between a one-column or two-column layout to best fit your dashboard design.

  • Select the answer style: Select between list style, which shows all answers at once, or accordion style, which allows users to expand and collapse answers for a cleaner look.

Once you are done creating, click "Add Widget" to add the widget to your dashboard.

You can move the widget to the desired location by hovering over the left dot menu and dragging it from the corner.

Editing an Existing FAQ Widget

  1. Open the Edit Widget Modal:

    • Click on the three-dot menu in the right corner of the widget.

    • Select "Settings" to open the edit modal.

  2. Update Content and Settings:

    • Modify the title, description, questions, answers, and style as needed.

  3. Save Changes:

    • Click "Save Changes" to apply the changes.
