What is Integrately?
Integrately is a third-party automation service, not a SmartSuite product. It offers a library of pre-built automations between pairs of apps and a guided builder for custom ones. Integrately runs the automations on its own service and talks to SmartSuite through the SmartSuite API.
Which SmartSuite events and actions does Integrately support?
Integrately's SmartSuite listing names automations that start from a new or an updated SmartSuite record. It also names automations that create a SmartSuite record from an event in another app. The current list of pairings is on Integrately's SmartSuite page and changes without notice from SmartSuite.
Direction. | Example on Integrately's SmartSuite page. |
SmartSuite starts the automation. | Send a Slack message for a new SmartSuite record, or for an updated SmartSuite record. |
Another app starts it, SmartSuite receives. | Create a SmartSuite record for a new Slack message. |
Note: Integrately's features, pricing and app list are Integrately's to change. For a SmartSuite-side limit, such as the number of API calls your plan includes, see the Related Reading links above.
How do I connect SmartSuite to Integrately?
In SmartSuite, open My Profile (your profile icon, upper right) and copy your API Key. Copy your Workspace ID from the address bar: the first 8 characters after https://app.smartsuite.com/.
On integrately.com, create an Integrately account and sign in.
On the Integrately home page, search the app list for SmartSuite and select it.
Select the second app you want to connect. Integrately shows the ready-made automations for that pair.
Select an automation, or build a custom one if no pre-made automation fits.
When Integrately asks for the SmartSuite connection, paste the API Key and the Workspace ID. The connection is saved and the automation is ready to turn on.
Important: The API key has the same permissions as the Member who generated it. For an automation that should only reach some solutions, generate the key from a Member whose role is limited to those solutions.
FAQ
Where do I find my API key and Workspace ID?
Your API key is in My Profile under API Key; select the masked value to reveal and copy it. Your Workspace ID is the first 8 characters after https://app.smartsuite.com/ in the address bar. See Where do I find my API key and Workspace ID.
Does an Integrately automation count against my SmartSuite API limit?
Yes. Integrately reaches SmartSuite through the API, so each request it makes counts toward the monthly API calls included in your plan. The figures per plan are in the SmartSuite Limits article linked from the API key article above.
What happens if I regenerate my API key?
Regenerating a key invalidates the old one at once. Every Integrately connection that used the old key stops until you paste the new key into Integrately.
Who supports an Integrately automation?
Integrately supports its own service and builder. SmartSuite support answers questions about the SmartSuite side: the API key, the Workspace ID, permissions and API limits.
Last verified 21 Oct 2026 against Integrately's SmartSuite integrations page and the SmartSuite articles Where do I find my API key and Workspace ID and Generating an API Key. Checked: more than 1,500 apps; new record, updated record and create record automations.
