Overview

The Next & Previous Record Navigation feature allows members to seamlessly move between records within a solution. This functionality is useful for quick browsing, updating records efficiently, and managing data with minimal disruption.

  • Easily switch between records using the < > arrows in the record window.

  • Records are ordered according to the active view's sort settings.

  • Make updates on the fly, with prompts to save changes before navigating to another record.

How It Works

Navigating Between Records

  1. Open a record within any solution.

  2. Use the < > arrows on the left and right of the record window to move between records.

  3. Records follow the active sort order in the current view.

  4. Update records directly, ensuring changes are saved before switching to the next entry.

When Navigation Arrows May Not Appear

  • If a record is opened from the Notification Center and is not part of a sequential list.

  • If the record is accessed via direct search instead of from a filtered list.

  • If you are viewing the first or last record, the arrows for previous record or next record (respectively) will be grayed out and not clickable.
