How to Duplicate a Solution
Option 1: From the Home Page
Log in as an Administrator or Solution Manager with Solution Owner access.
Locate the solution you want to duplicate.
Click the 3-dot menu (...) next to the solution name and select Duplicate Solution.
The Duplicate Solution dialog will open.
Option 2: From Inside the Solution
Log in as an Administrator or Solution Manager with Solution Owner access.
Open the solution you want to duplicate.
From the solution's dropdown menu, select Duplicate Solution.
The Duplicate Solution dialog will open.
Configuring the Duplicate Solution
In the Duplicate Solution dialog, you can configure these options:
Option | Description |
Name | Specify a new, unique name for the solution. |
Duplicate in Workspace | Specify the SmartSuite Workspace where the solution should be duplicated. This dropdown list will show the Workspaces in which you have the Solution Creator or Administrator role, which is required to create the duplicated solution. |
Include Records | Check to copy all records from the original solution. |
Include Comments | Check to copy all comments from the original solution. |
Once configured, click Duplicate Solution to create an exact copy of the original solution. You will be redirected to the newly duplicated solution.
