The Communication Center enhances collaboration by offering:

  • Emails: Send and receive emails directly within records.

  • Comments: Share thoughts and feedback in real-time.

  • Templates: Save time with reusable email templates.


Enabling Emailing from a Record

  1. Open the Communication Center in a record.

  2. Click the gear icon in the top-right corner.

  3. Toggle on the Emails option.

Once enabled:

  • New sections will appear under the Communication Center, making it easy to organize communications.

  • The Email sub-section provides a consolidated view of all emails related to the record and options to send new ones.


Sending an Email

  1. Navigate to the Email section within the Communication Center.

  2. Use pre-created templates or include information from the record to craft your email.

  3. Send the email, and any replies will automatically be added back to the record's Communication Center.


Connecting Your Outlook or Gmail Email Account

Authenticate your Outlook or Gmail account to sync emails directly with SmartSuite. Follow the steps in the related guides


Managing Email Templates

Save time with templates tailored to your communication needs:

  1. Create a new email or open the Template Management UI.

  2. Add your content, including text, formatting, fields, and attachments.

  3. Save the template for future use.

To use a template:

  1. Select it from the template list.

  2. Review and customize it as needed.

  3. Send your email effortlessly.
