A Grid view is shared read-only with Share View, the last button on the view toolbar. It gives a link that anyone can open without a SmartSuite account, and the people who open it cannot edit.

Example: a Vendor Management solution with a Vendors table. The Security lead shares the Vendor risk register with the external auditor for the audit window, read-only, with a passcode. The steps are in Shared Views.

Sharing a Grid view
Open the Grid view and choose the columns with Fields to Display. A field left out of the view is not shared unless Share all fields is on.
Select Share View in the toolbar. The window headed Share this View opens.
Turn on the switch at the top right of the window.
Check or clear the five settings: Share all fields, Allow data to be exported, Allow viewers to open records, Display toolbar and Restrict access with a passcode. The third label carries the table's record name.
Select Copy URL and send the link. Select Done to close the window.

Note: The shared page is read-only whatever the settings. Viewers filter and sort only when Display toolbar is on. They open records only when Allow viewers to open records is on, and download only when Allow data to be exported is on.
