Sharing Your Form

When you’re done creating a form, it’s time to share it and put it into action. The process is simple and gives you two options for sharing:

1. Shareable Link

  • Copy a URL that opens the form directly in the recipient's default browser.

  • Easily distribute the link via email, chat, or other communication tools.

2. Embed Code

  • Copy an HTML snippet to embed the form into an existing website or external application that supports embeds.

Note: If you append a ?header=false parameter to the end of the embed URL, you can control whether the shared grid displays a header. This value was not included in older generated URLs, but any older embed can be updated manually by adding ?header=false to the embed widget URL.

Practical Use Cases and Scenarios

1. Collecting Event Registrations

Scenario: A company is organizing a conference and needs to gather attendee registrations.

Solution: Use the Shareable Link option to send the form to potential attendees via email or post it on the event website.

Outcome: Simplified registration process and centralized attendee data collection.

2. Embedding Surveys on a Website

Scenario: A business wants to gather feedback on its new product directly from website visitors.

Solution: Embed the form on the company’s website using the Embed Code option.

Outcome: Increased visibility and participation in the survey, with results stored in a central location.

3. Internal Team Surveys

Scenario: The HR team is running an employee satisfaction survey.

Solution: Share the form link via internal communication tools like Slack or email, allowing employees to respond quickly.

Outcome: Efficient collection of feedback to identify areas for improvement within the organization.
