The Comparison Metric provides a visual snapshot of trends in metrics from one period to the next.
Uses
How are sales opportunities or marketing leads trending vs the prior month? How about revenue or EBITDA. You name the metric, this widget can track performance at-a-glance between any prior period.
Settings
The Comparison Widget is a more advanced widget to configure. Start by selecting an App and then the numeric or currency field to sum to get the base metric. You can readily filter records - for example, sum only the Contract Value for Opportunity records with a status of Closed-Won.
Select the date and comparison time frame.
Note: To show the value as a simple number without comparison, simply remove the date to compare.
Widget Drill In
To open up the records associated with the value, simply click on the widget and a window with the records will display.
