Uses
How are sales opportunities or marketing leads trending versus the prior month? How about revenue or EBITDA? This widget can track performance at-a-glance for any metric between selected periods.
Settings
The Comparison Metric Widget is a more advanced widget to configure. Follow these steps:
Select an Table: Choose the table containing the data you want to track.
Choose a Field to Sum: Select a numeric or currency field to calculate the base metric.
Filter Records: Apply filters to focus on specific data, such as summing the "Contract Value" field for "Opportunity" records with a status of "Closed-Won."
Set a Date Range: Define the period to evaluate and the comparison time frame.

Note: To display the value as a simple number without comparison, remove the date comparison setting.

The reference date used for data comparison.
Comparison Time Frame
Last One vs. Time Before
Compares the most recent completed period with the one immediately preceding it.
Example:
Last: January 2025
One Before: December 2024
Rolling Windows
A rolling window is a continuously updating time range that shifts forward with each new data point. This allows for dynamic data analysis based on the most recent records.
Example:
Today (Feb 7, 2025): A rolling 30-day window covers Jan 8 β Feb 7, 2025.
Tomorrow (Feb 8, 2025): The range moves to Jan 9 β Feb 8, 2025.
