  2. Choose a Field to Sum: Select a numeric or currency field to calculate the base metric.

  3. Filter Records: Apply filters to focus on specific data, such as summing the "Contract Value" field for "Opportunity" records with a status of "Closed-Won."

  4. Set a Date Range: Define the period to evaluate and the comparison time frame.

Comparison Time Frame

Last One vs. Time Before

  • Compares the most recent completed period with the one immediately preceding it.

  • Example:

    • Last: January 2025

    • One Before: December 2024

Rolling Windows

A rolling window is a continuously updating time range that shifts forward with each new data point. This allows for dynamic data analysis based on the most recent records.

  • Example:

    • Today (Feb 7, 2025): A rolling 30-day window covers Jan 8 – Feb 7, 2025.

    • Tomorrow (Feb 8, 2025): The range moves to Jan 9 – Feb 8, 2025.

Time Frame Options
