Overview

New user profiles in SmartSuite start with the workspace's default settings for language, time zone, and locale. However, users can easily update their individual profiles to select their preferred settings.


Changing Your Language, Time Zone, or Locale

Follow these steps to customize your preferences:

  1. Open Your Profile Settings:

    • Click on your user profile icon in the upper-right corner of the SmartSuite interface.

  2. Access General Preferences:

    • Click General Preferences from the dropdown menu.

  3. Edit Your Settings:

    • Click Edit in the General Preferences section.

  4. Select Your Preferences:

    • Choose your preferred language, time zone, and locale from the available options.

  5. Save Your Changes:

    • Click Update General Preferences to apply your selections.
      ​

Note: Your browser will refresh after any changes are applied. For more information see our Supported Languages article.


Translated Content

  • System Content:

    • SmartSuite translates all "system" content into your selected language. This includes:

      • Help articles

      • Admin interfaces

      • Popup menu descriptions

      • Button text

  • User-Generated Content:

    • SmartSuite does not automatically translate user-inputted content, such as:

      • Field names

      • Record content

    • Users are responsible for presenting content in their desired language.
