How to Set Up the Google Slide Widget

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Get the Embed Link:

    • Open your Google Slides presentation.

    • Click on the "Share" button.

    • Ensure link-sharing permissions are appropriately set:

      • Viewer. The Google Slides will be read-only

      • Commenter. Members will be able to comment on the embedded slides

      • Editor. Members will be able to make changes to the slides

  2. Add the Widget to Your Dashboard:

    • Open the dashboard where you want to add the presentation.

    • Select the “+ Add Widget” option.

  3. Configure the Widget:

    • Choose “Google Slides” as the widget type.

    • Paste the copied link into the “Embed URL” field.

    • Save the widget.

  4. Manage Permissions:

    • Ensure that all intended collaborators have the necessary access to the Google Slides file.
