How to Set Up the Google Docs Widget

Follow these simple steps to integrate and use the widget on your dashboard:

1. Prepare Your Google Doc

  • Open the desired Google Doc.

  • Click Share and generate a shareable link.

  • Assign appropriate permissions:

    • View only: Allow users to see the content without editing.

    • Edit: Allow collaborative changes to the document.

2. Add the Widget to Your Dashboard

  • Open your dashboard and select Add Widget.

  • Choose Google Docs Widget from the available options.

3. Configure the Widget

  • Paste the shareable Google Doc link into the Embed URL field.

  • A live preview of the document will appear.

  • Resize or reposition the widget as needed.
