Work that gets done in SmartSuite uses the platform's capabilities for scheduling tasks, managing due dates, and tracking status. Set your organization's working days and times so that SmartSuite can intelligently guide you through those processes. This will make it easier to see availability and help you efficiently schedule resources.

When you first create your SmartSuite workspace, working days default to Monday through Friday, with hours of operation starting at 8am and ending at 5pm.

Note that all times are shown in the current user's time zone.

Updating working days

Here, you can set which days of the week are working days for your organization, and set the start and end time for each working day.

Just follow these steps to change your configuration:

  1. Log in as a user (with the Administrator role).

  2. Click on your user profile icon in the upper-right hand corner of the SmartSuite interface to open your user profile options.

  3. Click Workspace Administration in the menu.

  4. Select the Workspace Settings tab, then click Working Days in the left nav.

  5. Click Edit in the Working Days section.

  6. Check the boxes for all days of the week that are working days, and uncheck any that are not.

  7. Set the start (FROM) and end (TO) times for each selected working day.

  8. Click Update Working Days to save your changes.

Times are available in 30 minute increments, as shown below...

Can I see the total number of working hours I've scheduled per day?

Your total working hours per day are displayed right in the Manage Working Days interface - see the highlighted values in the screenshot below:
