Navigating your organization's schedules through holiday seasons can be a challenge. SmartSuite makes this easier for you by factoring holidays you specify into calendar displays and calculating remaining business days.

Managing your holidays

Setting up your holiday calendar is easy. Just follow these steps:

  1. Log in as a user (with the Administrator role).

  2. Click on your user profile icon in the upper-right hand corner of the SmartSuite interface to open your user profile options.

  3. Click Workspace Administration in the menu.

  4. Select the Workspace Settings tab, then click Holiday Schedule.

  5. Click Edit in the Holiday Schedule section.

  6. A Manage Holiday Schedule dialog will open.

  7. Select the Year for the holiday (it will default to the current year).

  8. Click Add a Holiday.

  9. Select the Date for the holiday.

  10. Enter a Name for the holiday.

  11. Repeat steps 6-8 for as many holidays as you would like to configure.

  12. Click Update Holiday Schedule.

After clicking the Add a Holiday option a new line is added. If you are missing a date or Holiday Name, those values will be highlighted in red, as shown below:
