Why Reactions Matter
In today’s remote-first and global work environment, text-based communication can often lose the subtlety of face-to-face interactions. Reactions, like emojis, help to:

Provide quick and engaging ways to acknowledge comments without additional messages.

Where to React to Comments
1. Click the icon next to the comment counter to view simple reactions. When you hover over a reaction, a tooltip will display the reacting member.
2. Add a wide range of reactions directly in a comment by clicking the emoji icon.

Reactions to Comments
Once the first reaction is added, other members are intuitively prompted to add their reactions by clicking the +plus sign below the comment.
Note: SmartSuite does not notify members when reactions occur. So if you have something important to say in reaction to a comment.
Users can only react once per comment. Hitting the + Plus sign and adding a reaction will just update your prior reaction.
